How do I fund this investment through my Self-Directed IRA?

Funding through a Self-Directed IRA is something we support regularly. The process can take anywhere from 3-5 business days up to a few weeks, depending on your custodian.

Here's how it works:

1. First, make sure you have an SDIRA investor profile set up. If not, go to your profile icon, then Settings, then Identity, then Register a New Investor Account, and select "Through a Self-Directed IRA". Follow the steps to add your titling and custodian information.

2. Once we kick off sign & close and are ready to collect funding, we'll send you the steps to submit your documentation to your custodian.

3. Your custodian will typically need the Operating Agreement, Articles of Organization, EIN, and wire instructions, which we'll provide.

4. You will also need to complete your Direction of Investment (DOI) form, which is provided by your custodian.

Do I need to connect my SDIRA account every time I have a disbursement?

You'll only need to connect your SDIRA account one time per investment, using the wire instructions your custodian provides. Once that's connected, it will stay linked to your account going forward.

That said, each time you receive a notification that a new distribution is available, you'll need to log in to the platform and initiate the withdrawal to your custodian yourself. This step applies to each individual distribution.
